Stupid Brains v. Smart Tax Policy

It’s true, $1000.00 is meaningful. It’s true, Schumer & Pelosi are laugh out loud jokes.

It’s true, spending years on the floor of Home Depot talking to customers is a glimpse into the stamina and work ethic of Bernie Marcus.

It’s also true we could have used the tax cut to pay people to go to college like they do in Denmark. It’s also true we could have used the tax cut to give everyone health care like they do in Canada.

It’s also true we could have used the tax cut as reparations for slavery.

It’s also true we could have used the tax cut to free non-violent drug offenders, give them a place to live, a new wardrobe and much needed counseling as they transition back into society, back into being functional members of society.

It’s also true we could have used the tax cut to shower Colin Kaepernick with affection for taking a knee for those of us the spotlight passes over like we’re not really there.

We are. We’re really there.

Unlike Bernie, who’s gone, gone, gone…

Bernie Marcus can pretend Hillary Clinton lost the election. But he’s pretending. She won the popular vote. Winning the Electoral College isn’t really winning. You can pretend it is. But it’s pretending. Children pretend. They also have play dates, which is a lot like golfing, so maybe pretending isn’t such a stretch. But it’s creepy like religion.

Let’s make a deal, Bernie: use your stupid brains and I’ll use mine.
